How long does installation take?
Most vehicles are fitted, tested and live on the app within a day. Larger fleets are scheduled in batches so your vehicles stay on the road.
Do I need a contract?
It depends on the plan. On the buy plans there is no long contract: you pay once for the first year, and after that you renew each year only if you want to. On the
rental plans you pay a smaller amount upfront and then a monthly subscription, with a 12-month minimum from activation. Fees already paid are not refundable. See our

What does the yearly renewal cover?
This describes the buy plans. For the yearly packages, the renewal covers continued access to the FleetCrest app for all your users, the SIM data your tracker uses, and support. The amount depends on the package. The car alarm is a one-off with no yearly renewal, and the dash-camera package’s renewal is confirmed at launch. Which package should I choose?
One bike: Motorbike Tracking. One car: Vehicle Tracking. Want to see the litres in the tank: a Tracking + Fuel Monitoring package, for light vehicles or for heavy commercial vehicles. Want a hidden second tracker as a backup: the Premium bundle. Not sure? Message us and we will help you choose.
How do I introduce tracking to my drivers?
Be open about it. Explain that tracking protects the driver as well as the vehicle: it shows where they were if something is questioned, and it brings help sooner if something goes wrong. Agree the rules up front, for example speed limits, and share which alerts you will act on. Most drivers accept tracking when it is explained clearly.
Is it legal to track my drivers?
Tracking company vehicles is common practice. Because location data can identify a driver, tell your drivers they are tracked and why, and give access only to the people who need it. Our

When will it pay for itself?
It depends on your fleet. Fuel monitoring shows every refuel and drop against the tank level, so you can see where fuel goes. Try the
calculator with your own numbers. It gives an estimate, not a promise.
Can a driver disable the tracker?
If a tracker is disconnected or tampered with, FleetCrest raises a power-disconnect or tamper alert so you know straight away, and if a tracker stops reporting you get an offline alert. A trained installer fits every device and documents the installation.
Is remote immobilisation safe?
It is built around safety. Only a person on your account can start it — nothing ever triggers it automatically. FleetCrest never cuts a vehicle that is moving: if the vehicle is moving, or its last position is out of date, the command waits and only runs once the vehicle is confirmed stationary. A short warning delay applies before the cut, restoring the engine is immediate, and every step is logged. It needs an immobiliser relay fitted to the vehicle.
How accurate are the fuel sensors?
Each sensor is calibrated to its own tank and typically reads within a few litres. Accuracy depends on tank size and shape and on the quality of the calibration, which is why calibration is part of every fuel-sensor installation.

Who can see my data?
Your vehicles and history are visible to your account and to the people and institutions you have agreed to share them with — for example, a lender on a financed vehicle. FleetCrest staff access data only to give you support. See our

What does the first-year price include?
The first-year price is per vehicle and all-inclusive: it covers the device, professional installation and 12 months of app access for all your users.
How is fuel monitoring priced?
Fuel monitoring is on a Tracking + Fuel Monitoring package — one for light vehicles and one for heavy commercial vehicles. Each includes everything in tracking and fleet management plus a calibrated fuel-level sensor and fuel charts.
