How we protect your data
- Encrypted connectionsEverything between your device and FleetCrest travels over HTTPS (TLS).
- Hashed passwordsPasswords are never stored in plain text. They are hashed with bcrypt.
- Role-based accessPeople sign in with a role — Owner, Manager or Viewer — and see only what their role allows.
- An audit logSensitive actions, such as who viewed a vehicle’s location and any attempt to use a feature a role is not allowed, are recorded in an audit log.
- Sessions you can revokeA sign-in session can be revoked, and resetting a password signs out all of that user’s sessions.
- Rate-limited sign-inRepeated failed sign-in and password-reset attempts are slowed down and then blocked.
- Encrypted, off-site backupsBackups run automatically, are encrypted, and are kept off the server — and we run restore drills so we know they work.
- Hosted in the European UnionOur servers are hosted in data centres in the European Union.
We collect only what we need to run the service, demo accounts are kept separate from customer data and expire automatically, and you can read exactly how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.
